Rob Grace's visit to the Wargames Holiday Centre mid 1980's.

Rob Grace from Harrow very kindly got in touch with his photographs of his visit to Peter Gilder's wonderful holiday centre. Needless to say it was a massive Napoleonic battle with some of the thousands of figures Gilder had amassed.

Probably my favourite and most iconic of Gilder's many units, the Saxon cuirassiers. Whenever I get to go to the centre I always grab this unit, still a big child Im afraid.
Rob believed the visit was the 1980's when Peter Gilder had begun to show the signs of the illness which finally took him.
